Centre in Nigeria
VFS has been appointed as an outsourced partner by the Italian Ministry
of Foreign Affairs in order to schedule appointments for visa submission
and legalization of Nigerian certificates.
Visa applicants and people requiring certificate legalization can
now easily, quickly and safely book their appointments on-line at
their own convenience.
In this web site are contained all information concerning the procedures
for appointment booking as well as details about the submission
of visa applications , so visa applicants are strongly recommended
to carefully read all sections of this web site in order to identify
the type of visa meeting their requirement at best. It has to be
noted that all visa applications have to be submitted at the Consulate
General of Italy in Lagos only.
Important to note:
As of 21st December 2007, nine European countries (the Czech Republic,
Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and
Slovenia) have joined the Schengen Agreement. This means that the
Schengen area includes now 24 European Countries: Austria, Belgium,
the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg,
Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia,
Spain and Sweden. New regulations have been established and the
visa processing time has lengthened to two weeks.
Applicants are therefore recommended to schedule their appointments
well in advance in order to be able to submit their application
at least 15 days before the expected date of departure.
Any inconvenience ensued by this new regulation is deeply regretted.
