  • Important information to all Italy visa applicants-Lagos

    Due to major technical issues, submission of visa application at Lagos VFS Centre is currently suspended.

    Applicants wishing to travel for business, tourism, attending conferences or religious purposes, can request an appointment by sending an e-mail to the Consulate General of Italy at the address lagos.visa@esteri.it and using this format:


    SURNAME
    FIRST NAME
    DATE OF BIRTH
    CITIZENSHIP
    PASSPORT NR.
    SCOPE OF TRIP (business, tourism, ...)
    NAME OF ITALIAN COMPANY (for business visa)

    As per the E.U. Visa Code, the Consulate has 14 days to respond to the request. Applicants are advised to well plan their trips, as it takes 9 days to receive the required clearances from the Schengen system.

    Submission of applications for family reunion (all types) are currently suspended since the whole process of documents legalization is currently under review.

  • Important information to all Malta visa applicants

    All Malta applicants are required to fill tourist visa application form but should prepare documents according to their main purpose of travel to Malta. Please note that the document requirements for Malta and Italy visa application are the same depending on the visa type you intend to apply for.

  • Handwritten forms shall no longer be accepted from 01 February 2016.

    This is to inform all prospective applicants desiring to apply for Italy visa, that effective 01 February 2016, it is mandatory to fill their visa application form online - www.italy-ng.com. Handwritten forms shall no longer be accepted. The completed application form is to be submitted along with the visa application checklist in the arrangement order as instructed on the website and other supporting document(s).
