    COVID-19 EMERGENCY (CORONAVIRUS). IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISA APPLICANTS

    Due to the current epidemiological situation we inform that all the movements restrictions put in place in Italy by the Decrees of the President of the Council of Ministers - DPCM of 8 March 2020 and DPCM of 9 March 2020 - apply to every person staying or transiting in Italy, including foreigner travellers.

    Passport Validity: Dear Customers for any tourist/Business or Conference application, your passport validity should be of 6 months from the date of submission.

    For Long Stay visa application, passport validity should be minimum of 18months valid from date of submission.

    Passport Pages: Customers please be informed that Italian consulate would require a minimum of three (3) consecutive empty pages in your passport in order to issue a visa Sticker on your passport.

    Pre-Payment Appointment

    Effective 27 February 2020 it is compulsory to pay VFS Global service fee before booking appointment online. Visa fee will continue to be paid upon submission. Please note that appointment once booked cannot be re-scheduled or cancelled. VFS Global service fee is non-refundable.

    Please note, from 24 February 2020 onwards, all the payments at the Visa Application Center in Abuja Nigeria will be done through POS machines. We request you to carry your debit cards to make payments with ease.
